Comments: This sire has breeding values which puts selection pressure in the direction that targets Trigger Vale’s breeding objectives. Very balanced figures with fantastic carcase breeding values. 1.2 for muscle represents the top 10% of all Merino’s. This has great repercussions for lamb meat yields and lamb survival. A near neutral micron and fleece weight ASBV is ideal as it drives increased wool value through quality rather quantity which can have a negative correlation with some other maternal traits.. 10% Number of lambs weaned is in the top 2% and suggests his daughters will have significant more lambs. Some outstanding progeny available this year and has probably breed the most stylish rams in the 2010 sale team. |

Comments: This F1 ram was clearly the stand out of our first AI program with Dohne genetics. Sired by Roseville Park 77 who was the only ram that benchmarked well in our trials with Dohne genetics. His figures are well balanced in all the traits that are important for improving client’s profitability. This ram illustrates that by performance testing it is possible to identify true elite dual purpose genetics that are fast growing, high meat yielding with a good quality, medium cutting fleece. An index of 162 represents elite performance in the top 5% band. This ram will also breed daughters with well above average fertility levels as a NLW ASBV of 15% is in the very top 1% for the trait. Last opportunity to purchase sons from this outstanding ram as he has died. Limited semen packages also available. |

Micron: HGT 22.1 ADULT 22.7
Comments: Very highly rated stud sire. Great growth, positive fat and muscle along with an extremely high staple strength give this sire some great maternal attributes. Carcase is also very handy as he weighed 23% above the average of the 2003 drop at 12 months of age. Progeny show great size and type. Very plain body and no wrinkle reflected in his -0.4 breeding value for breech wrinkle and we expect this ram to play a major role as we head down the mulesing free path. Sons show great multi-purpose characteristics. Limited semen packages available in this powerful stud sire. |

Comments: trigger Vale bred sire with really good balance of ASBV’s and very uncomplicated physical appearance. Very clean on the points and plain bodied with no breech wrinkle. Progeny showing same phenotypic characteristics. A really strong all rounder who had a very high percentage of stud ewe keepers this year during Trigger Vales ewe weaner classing. Good selection of sons available this year. |

Comments: Used in our 2009 AI program due to the fact he was a high growth SRS type Merinoselect linked proven sire. Leahcim also claim to be a mules free flock so we felt this sires progeny would provide a good comparison to where Trigger Vale genetics sit in the industry with regards to this issue. F1 rams interesting and blend in well with Trigger Vales polled Phenotype and are available this year. |

Comments: Used in 2009 AI program. This ram was selected due to it’s incredible growth breeding value (top 1% for all Merino’s). Progeny showed good growth and wool type. Interesting progeny for clients wanting to turn off wether portion of lambs earlier or get ewe lambs at joining weights earlier. Positive fat, muscle and NLW should ensure better fertility and maternal characteristics of daughters and granddaughters. Limited sons available this year for clients wishing to improve carcase attributes of their flock while maintaining a quality wool clip. |

Comments: Used in 2008 AI program. This ram is a half brother to SWG0045 (above) and we selected due to its incredible muscle breeding values. We believe that a Trigger Vale keeper son of this ram is the highest muscled wool sheep ram in Australia with a 3.6 ASBV. Limited sons available this selling season for commercial breeders looking to inject serious growth and muscle into their flock to take advantage of current high lamb and mutton prices while maintaining a quality wool clip. |
